FlowCanary is operated by FlowCanary (Dubai, UAE). This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.

What we scan

We only scan URLs that you submit. Scans are passive: we make ordinary GET and HEAD requests and load pages in a real headless browser, like a normal visitor would. We never submit forms, log in, click buy buttons or create accounts.

What we store

• The URL you submitted.
• The scan results (status codes, page text excerpts, detected issues).
• Screenshots of scanned pages, stored and public with the report.
• A salted hash of your IP address, used only for rate limiting. We don't store your raw IP.
• Your email address — only if you give it to us (for example to reserve a founding spot or to be notified).

Who can see reports

Reports are public to anyone with the link. Don't share a report link if you'd rather keep the results private.

Emails

We only email you about what you asked for. Product updates are opt-in and you can unsubscribe at any time.
